⸻ Tilt & Turn
Energy Efficient Tilt and Turn Aluclad Windows
Timber offers outstanding insulation capabilities, durability, and a timeless charm. Its inherent warmth and character make it a preferred choice for eco-conscious homeowners.
Our modern aluclad timber windows feature exceptional insulating properties. With double glazing as standard, our windows achieve an impressive low U-Value of 0.8 W/m²K, minimising energy consumption and helping to lower your utility bills.
⸻ Tilt & Turn
What Is A Tilt and Turn Window?
Tilt and Turn Windows are versatile and can be operated in two distinct ways. They Tilt inwards from the top for ventilation, remaining fixed at the base of the window, or they can swing inwards like a door.
The Tilt only option is ideal for windows on the second floor of a house or block of apartments, as the size of the opening is restricted. This allows for ventilation, whilst maintaining a high level of security.
When the window is closed, by turning the handle upwards, the Tilt and Turn facility becomes activated. The window then opens fully, into the room. This option makes it easy to clean windows from inside the home and can create an easy access escape window.
⸻ Security
Aluclad Tilt and Turn Windows Meet PAS 24 Security
Our Aluclad Tilt and Turn windows meet the rigorous standards of PAS 24 security and Secure By Design accreditation, providing you with peace of mind and confidence in the safety of your home.
One key feature that enhances the security of our Tilt and Turn windows is the concealed hinge mechanism. When the window is closed, the hinge mechanism becomes fully concealed between the outer frame and the opening sash. This design not only enhances the aesthetics of the window but also reinforces security measures by making it difficult for intruders to access or tamper with the hinges from the outside.
In addition to the concealed hinge mechanism, our Timber and Aluminium Tilt and Turn windows are engineered with robust locking systems and durable materials to further enhance security.
